Yorkshire Laser Fabrication is moving to a purpose built complex which will almost treble its size and give us more room for our growing business.
A family based engineering business which specializes in providing a wraparound service of enclosures for power generation, telecoms and the auto market our new home will be in nearby Normanton.
Our new factory at Mildred Sylvester Way, Normanton, will allow us to offer a 24/7 service to customers.

Our new factory gives us 36,000 square foot of space compared to its previous 12,000.
Already in the last year, the company which was started by Garnet Orford in the 1990s, has expanded the engineering team and we have plans has plans to hire more skilled workers.
We have also recently acquire a Bystronic Bytrans auto sheet loader which increases the efficiency of our laser cutting service and allows Yorkshire Laser to run unmanned production increasing productivity.
Matthew Orford, Garnet’s son, is now at the helm and he has rolled out an aggressive e-commerce marketing strategy that has resulted in the consolidation of Yorkshire Lasers core sectors and attracted new markets including medical and food. We’ve also attracted some European work in recent months.
