Quality

Yorkshire Laser prides itself on providing exceptional customer service which is founded primarily on two key elements - high quality and reliable, on-time delivery.

Delivering what you want, the way you want it

At Yorkshire Laser we work closely with our customers to ensure we are delivering the parts and products they require at the time they need them, at the expected high quality and at the cost agreed. From ‘art to part’, we strive to ensure we not only meet our customers’ expectations but exceed them time and time again.

Quality, consistently hitting the mark both in terms of the service we provide and the standard of our finished product, is a massive part of what Yorkshire Laser is about. We have a well-founded reputation for delivering exceptional quality at great value and have the accreditation and association memberships to prove it.

ISO 9001

A global standard for quality management systems, ISO9001:2015 helps businesses consistently meet customer expectations plus regulatory compliance while driving continual improvement in performance. Yorkshire laser is incredibly proud for our quality management system to have attained ISO9001 and retained accreditation to it.

Our quality management system is designed to capture any potential defects at the earliest opportunity, ensuring we get it ‘right first time’. Not only is this great news for customer service, ensuring quality goods are delivered on time as expected, but also minimises potential waste.

ISO 14001

ISO14001 is the internationally recognised standard for environmental management systems providing a framework for managing and continually improving an organisation’s environmental performance – something that’s increasingly important in today’s age of climate change and other global challenges.

We were first awarded ISO14001for our environmental management system in 2016 and are proud to have retained it ever since. Environmental responsibility is incorporated into all elements of our operations. We have a systematic waste minimisation programme and are reducing our energy consumption year on year through more energy efficient laser cutting and CNC machinery, solar panels and voltage optimising technology.

Guild Emblem

The UK’s most established trade association, membership of the Guild of Master Craftsmen spans both modern-day craftspeople such as plumbers and electricians and traditionally skilled workers like cabinetmakers, blacksmiths and thatchers.

Before being granted membership, members of the guild are required to demonstrate the high quality of their workmanship and continual commitment to excellent customer care. As a skilled, bespoke metalworking company, Yorkshire Laser has been a member of the guild for many years firmly believing in the values of honour, integrity, professional expertise, high standards of workmanship and value for money that it stands for.

AILU

Yorkshire Laser has been a member of the Association of Industrial Laser Users since its inception in 1995.

This independent not-for-profit organisation has an international membership made up of many leading players in the industrial laser community. It seeks to support the development of laser technology, raising awareness and fostering research.

UKCA

UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed)is the UK conformity mark introduced to replace the European CE marking following Brexit. It indicates that the products being sold meet UK safety, health and environmental protection standards.

With certification to manufacture load bearing and structural steel components up to EXC2 according to BS EN1090-2:2018+A1:2004, Yorkshire laser is well placed to serve the needs of both architectural and structural customers with full traceability of materials throughout the manufacturing process integrated into our management systems.
